As for who goes to these things... well anyone can. The cons are open to anyone with money to buy a pass. I see people of all ages going to these things.
Why we go to them.... for me, I go because it's a lot of fun. I enjoy walking around and seeing people dressed as my favorite characters. It also is nice to see what items are available in the dealers room and sometimes there are interesting panels to go to.

Yea, I do. I'm Sweeney Todd. There are pics in my gallery. That's the cosplay that I use at the cons. I am going to start a Jack Sparrow costume though so hopefully next con I go to I will have 2 cosplays to use
