Hahahahaaaaaa I used Apple Juice Cream soda tastes nasty when it gets warm (well so does apple juice, but it's not as bad). But thank you so so much! Glad to get feedback from a fellow Captain Jack Sparrow!
Yay drunk-ness. Thankfully I didn't get stopped by the police. lol I was worried about that actually, because apparently another Jack impersonator had the cops called on him because people thought he was actually drunk
Lol that's good to hear! I need to take some time to read through the cosplay forums and see what the general concensus was for Otakon this year. Being my first time, I enjoyed myself and would go again next year.
I heard about the lines on friday lol, but I got there at like, 5-6pm so the lines were done. I know they were doing the crowd control thing for going to the dealer's area at one point, since it was too many people going in and out of there. They made us line up and go in 20 at a time.
I liked that they cranked the AC up all the time though lol, much better than at AN.
Lol, I was still on the road when half my group got to the con, and I think did the same thing. ALL cons should mail you the badges to avoid this crap. There's no sense in lining up at the day of con unless you're there to buy a badge last minute. What's the point of doing it early if you're gonna be there with all the other people who didn't? SMDH
And yeah lol, the AC when you walk in was such a great feeling. The game center was so frigid, but I guess it's expected when they're running all those consoles and whatnot.
You going to be doing NYCC this year? I hope to see you there at least one day. I'd have talked to you more and taken more pics when I caught you at otakon if my friends and I weren't on our way to the dealer's area. Didn't wanna hold them up too long.
I agree, then all you have to do is just show up at the door with your badge But really the reason why I pre reg is to ensure that I will actually get into the con. You never know when they will sell out of weekend passes, and I don't want to be 3hrs away from my house and then not be able to get into the convention center. So I always pre reg, it also costs less if you pre reg early enough And I know NYCC mails the tickets to your house if you order before a certain date (maybe before mid September I think it is).
Oh man, I should have gone to the game room. lol I mainly hung out in Artist Alley and near the Dip n Dots kiosk in the main area because those were the coldest areas in the con center.
Yup, I'm going! Gonna meet up with my school friends for that. And I will hopefully have my OST updates by then. As things get closer, we can arrange to actually meetup if you want
